Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Béla Pásztor made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kálmán Gyarmati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Kálmán Gyarmati. MALÉV SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Pásztor, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Szabolcs Varga kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Kálmán Gyarmati despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MALÉV SC's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MALÉV SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 26 minutes into the match, MALÉV SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Kálmán Gyarmati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. László Gyárfás kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Béla Pásztor in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, MALÉV SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Kálmán Gyarmati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kálmán Gyarmati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kálmán Gyarmati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kálmán Gyarmati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MALÉV SC's Kálmán Gyarmati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The MALÉV SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Pásztor in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kálmán Gyarmati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kálmán Gyarmati was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, MALÉV SC's goalkeeper Kálmán Gyarmati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kálmán Gyarmati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MALÉV SC made a substitution. Tibor Fülöp replaced Benedek Asztalos. After 74 played minutes MALÉV SC got a freekick which was hit by László Gyárfás. Kálmán Gyarmati made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Kálmán Gyarmati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kálmán Gyarmati could save by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kálmán Gyarmati, 0-4. After 93 played minutes MALÉV SC got a freekick which was hit by László Gyárfás. In the 95th minute, László Gyárfás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MALÉV SC throughout the match.
