Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abram Sarmiento got the match started through his kick off. Kevin Mastache might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samir Afacan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Mastache ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 6 minutes, Tuna Karal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş çArşı's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuna Karal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşiktaş çArşı's goalkeeper Samir Afacan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Beşiktaş çArşı's Tuna Karal. But to his dismay, Tuna Karal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jim Gustad, made in the 15th minute of the game. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Jim Gustad made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Beşiktaş çArşı defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samir Afacan. The Beşiktaş çArşı fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samir Afacan should have stopped the shot. Aggelos Farmakas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Aggelos Farmakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Aggelos Farmakas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
