The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Şanver Hazar in the 6 minute of the game. A collision led to Niğde FK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Brian Fitzpatrick hit a great ball. Güral Canay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Güral Canay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. In the 26th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akdoğu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Niğde FK booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Fitzpatrick went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Niğde FK's Mehmet Akdoğu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Niğde FK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Güral Canay hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Fitzpatrick to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mehmet Akdoğu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Espinar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Güral Canay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Niğde FK's Güral Canay got a free kick in the 68th minute. Brian Fitzpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Baycan Cinel in the 74 minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Brian Fitzpatrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. In the 87th minute, Esteban Carvallo fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Niğde FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Fitzpatrick to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Akdoğu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Niğde FK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Emre İltemiz hit a great ball. Güral Canay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Niğde FK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
