Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víctor Valdés prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Víctor Valdés was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Calaflores FC.'s Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Coronel Paredes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Víctor Valdés took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Calaflores FC. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Barros Cifuentes hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Víctor Valdés. Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manuel Zubiaga struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calaflores FC.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Víctor Valdés to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Zubizarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Víctor Valdés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coronel Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Coronel Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Manuel Zubiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Calaflores FC.'s Dionisio Zubizarreta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Zubiaga in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. A very nice done corner allowed Manuel Zubiaga to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 1-0 after 83 minutes. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Calaflores FC.'s Coronel Paredes. But to his dismay, Coronel Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Cristian Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Cristian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense.
