The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Julian Murillo scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lukács Bánhegyi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukács Bánhegyi. Hungarian Olympic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Mina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 37th minute Per-Oskar Walroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukács Bánhegyi made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's Miladin Kirichev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 45th minute, Ernesto Belarmo made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

Lukács Bánhegyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teo Honesto, made in the 70th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miladin Kirichev in the 74th minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miladin Kirichev went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Hungarian Olympic booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Julian Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hungarian Olympic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
