After having played for 9 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Konrad Banan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Banan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziemowit Ziemanis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Napoleon Kojder reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. Konrad Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Phantasy World's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 30th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Banan having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Phantasy World's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Konrad Banan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Plucinik made a kick off. Konrad Banan was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-4. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Phantasy World's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Banan came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konrad Banan. Phantasy World's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Phantasy World's Konrad Banan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Phantasy World's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Konrad Banan, making the score, 1-6. In the 68th minute, Phantasy World's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konrad Banan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Phantasy World getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Przemyslaw Majewski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Phantasy World's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Banan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
