Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Evgeniy Babich scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Gökmen Uzkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Werdenberg's Tudor Caragea. But to his dismay, Tudor Caragea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Caragea went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Aaron Kappel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Werdenberg's Tudor Caragea. But to his dismay, Tudor Caragea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Manuel Lajoie came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Evgeniy Babich took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. 41 minutes into the match, Gökmen Uzkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökmen Uzkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Caragea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tudor Caragea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lajoie saved FC Werdenberg from getting behind. When Gökmen Uzkan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC Werdenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökmen Uzkan couldn't finish the play. Volker Unger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Manuel Lajoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Caragea scored 2-7 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennett Pellandini, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Evgeniy Babich recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Evgeniy Babich showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-8. In the 85th match minute, FC Werdenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Caragea in the 92nd minute. FC Werdenberg's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
