After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamar Lee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Lamar Lee in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lamar Lee was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit De Middeleer in the 93rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamar Lee was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luca Espinar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 96 minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
