Arnalt Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Jose Sanz in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by VILLARREAL UNITED's Iyan Flores. In the 17th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, VILLARREAL UNITED's Tome Campoamor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. Frodo Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frodo Hernandez was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Tome Campoamor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VILLARREAL UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. After some careless play in the VILLARREAL UNITED defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frodo Hernandez. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frodo Hernandez should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frodo Hernandez, 1-6. Frodo Hernandez was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. 78 minutes in the game Juan Diego Tenorio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jaime Pardo. Ion Sobera kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet.
