The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Singapore's Lamar Lee did a great save. Benoit De Middeleer had several of the Honduras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Lautaro Navarro as he didn't even see the shot coming. 范荣挺 charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benoit De Middeleer was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Singapore's protests and gave Antoni Gotfryd a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 88th minute of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lamar Lee saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The throw-in from Arif Devan in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. The Honduras players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Singapore from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
