Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Bratt started the match with the kick off. Kattvik kings's Alvar Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Trittin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Reine Kinnman got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Kattvik kings defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Arvidsson. The Kattvik kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Arvidsson should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jürgen Trittin went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jürgen Trittin had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jürgen Trittin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Arvidsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvar Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute John Bratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reine Kinnman kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alvar Arvidsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. John Bratt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Alvar Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. After 81 minutes Kattvik kings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Arvidsson having to interfere. In the 87th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Bratt in the 97th minute of play. A collision led to Kattvik kings getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Şenel Zeval hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
