The Caburé Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Caburé Athletic's Fausto Kusko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Caburé Athletic's Fausto Kusko got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Caburé Athletic booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute of the game Delmar Deunoro made a throw-in which Fausto Kusko played forward. Rodolfo Abeijon hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Flor in the 65th minute. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcus Bailey kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. Mateo Leguizamo made a great header on El Salvador's corner, it was just that Caburé Athletic's Salvador Beila managed to reach the ball for a save. After 82 minutes of play, Caburé Athletic's Fausto Kusko made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caburé Athletic were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Agustin Urbez took the corner. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Kusko came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Prudencio Flor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Flor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Caburé Athletic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
