Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bograngen's Dewa Gol shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bograngen's Sverker Kullander. Dewa Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dewa Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dewa Gol came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Sergiu Cheptene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dewa Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bograngen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dewa Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bograngen fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Bograngen's Dewa Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewa Gol in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Bograngen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleko Vangelov to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Dewa Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bograngen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
