Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off which started today's match. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Farid Delecroix was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stavros Antzas in the 6th minute of play. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalie prevented a goal. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Omiros Ntounos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's zone, Orlando Casaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omiros Ntounos came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. 22 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omiros Ntounos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Stavros Antzas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omiros Ntounos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Ntounos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stavros Antzas in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Thanasis Malioufas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes, Chile's Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chile reached it. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Stavros Antzas came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Ntounos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Chile's Orlando Casaus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Omiros Ntounos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Stavros Antzas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stavros Antzas couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Stavros Antzas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omiros Ntounos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 46th minute of play forced ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stavros Antzas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omiros Ntounos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Stavros Antzas sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Omiros Ntounos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paris Georgiadis in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omiros Ntounos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Omiros Ntounos could save by the left post. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Antzas in the 67th minute of the match. The ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Stavros Antzas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Thanasis Vouzakis was substituted for Farid Delecroix. With his leg Omiros Ntounos managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner led Chile's Mariano Lacasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Omiros Ntounos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Pedro Indiano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Omiros Ntounos. Omiros Ntounos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Omiros Ntounos made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Omiros Ntounos. Mariano Lacasa kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omiros Ntounos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Christodoulos Kolokithas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
