In the 19th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Tuncel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bahadır Tuncel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Orkun Yönet fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CaPLooNBa's protests and gave Orkun Yönet a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes CaPLooNBa got a freekick which was hit by Orkun Yönet. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Çağatay Saatçioğlu took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Çağatay Saatçioğlu scored 2-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sezer Ersezer, made in the 36th minute of the game. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ertunc Bahadir kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Tuncel having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çağatay Saatçioğlu was the one to do the kick off. CaPLooNBa's Bahadır Tuncel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save CaPLooNBa from getting a goal against them. In the 58th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Ertunc Bahadir in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. If Çağatay Saatçioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st match minute, CaPLooNBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murat Selim Baturalp to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bahadır Tuncel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahadır Tuncel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CaPLooNBa booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Bahadır Tuncel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 83 played minutes CaPLooNBa got a freekick which was hit by Çağatay Saatçioğlu. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Sezer Ersezer made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. In the 91st match minute, CaPLooNBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baha Kutsoy to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Ertunc Bahadir in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
