Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fausto Kusko took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Marcus Bailey tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Caburé Athletic's Fausto Kusko made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Marcus Bailey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Bailey really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Salvador Beila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Marcus Bailey got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Barrett was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute, Dalmacio Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Bailey went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Millano in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes Curacao's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agustin Urbez who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rodolfo Abeijon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd minute Rene Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Kusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Prudencio Flor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Prudencio Flor slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 39th minute. Salvador Beila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Wallace in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Bailey. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 71st minute. Fausto Kusko might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Kusko ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Abeijon took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 77th minute Rene Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Flor came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Bailey in the 79th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Fausto Kusko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Rodolfo Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Rodolfo Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90thth minute of the game Fausto Kusko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Caburé Athletic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
