Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Peng Ran came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gao Peng Ran sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Andreas Falk tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Andreas Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Gao Peng Ran scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 2-0. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. 46 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg. Benne Benneborg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gao Peng Ran made a kick off. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Nicklas Lindström made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 55th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peru booed when Northland Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Benne Benneborg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 60 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benne Benneborg, 2-2. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Ture Waller replaced Gao Peng Ran. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Waller came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Benne Benneborg made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 94thth minute of the game Ture Waller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
