Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Natalucci started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Brown's late challenge caught a Glasgow Rangers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Brown helped the player get up and apologised. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dave Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dave Clemente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Dave Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Dave Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Dave Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Riccitelli in the 27th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonio Riccitelli who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antonio Riccitelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Dave Clemente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cassius Byrne's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Dave Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 40th minute of the match. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glasgow Rangers FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dave Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Placidi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Ettore Placidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Placidi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glasgow Rangers FC made a substitution. Anthony Amatori replaced Camillo Zacchia. Dave Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 69th minute of play. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. After 71 minutes Glasgow Rangers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Monty Rogers who took care of the corner kick. Dave Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Dave Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Attili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. In the 84th minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. Jenson Smith made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente managed to reach the ball for a save. After 87 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Koby Fletcher. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Attili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
