No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Esquirla FC's Orvar Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Esquirla FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvar Larsson made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orvar Larsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orvar Larsson, 3-2. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 71st minute, Arlo Arruta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquirla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Esquirla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 88th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Arlo Arruta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orvar Larsson was a little too slow when Ignacio Mastache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 5-5. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Esquirla FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
