Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Comunardo Marsili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Beppe Faiella kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Atletico Kankero getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Frank Fabiani hit a great ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Comunardo Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Comunardo Marsili was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Beppe Faiella came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Atletico Kankero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beppe Faiella couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Marsili. Atletico Kankero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Frank Fabiani hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Comunardo Marsili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Comunardo Marsili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Beppe Faiella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comunardo Marsili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Comunardo Marsili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 63 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Marsili. Atletico Kankero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. With a little luck, Atletico Kankero's Comunardo Marsili got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Comunardo Marsili made a huge save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Atletico Kankero's Comunardo Marsili got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atletico Kankero's Fedele Pedroni got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Atletico Kankero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Pedroni to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Comunardo Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Faiella in the 91st minute of the match.
