Emiliano Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 19th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Luca Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Abuba Akotonon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Cecilio Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Cecilio Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Genaro Elivareo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vânderson Barbosa hit a great ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 36th minute of play. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 40th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Tristan in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Abuba Akotonon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-3.

When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo.
