Lautaro Puig ran back to his position shaking his head. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Costa Rica to win.
