Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominik Mnich. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Sanches having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Otávio Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play forced Slavo FC's goalkeeper Otávio Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Otávio Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdemar de Souza during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Otávio Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes Slavo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Otávio Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Slavo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Otávio Sanches quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Slavo FC's Jardel Ribeiro got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Guilherme Wisnewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slavo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Wisnewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otávio Sanches. Otávio Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guilherme Wisnewski was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Guilherme Wisnewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Guilherme Wisnewski came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Slavo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Wisnewski couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Dominik Mnich sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Otávio Sanches made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otávio Sanches. That made the score 1-2 in the 74 minute of play. Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Slavo FC from getting a goal against them. Valdemar de Souza hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Slavo FC's Otávio Sanches got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Tales de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Slavo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Otávio Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute Guilherme Wisnewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
