Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vinicio Medina started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Rojas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PUNTARENAS F.C's Virgilio Rojas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, PUNTARENAS F.C's Macho Madrigal got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Gaueko in the 13th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Gaueko did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 21 minutes into the match. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PUNTARENAS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Julian Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. PUNTARENAS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Vinicio Medina was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jonathan Venegas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 49 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Virgilio Rojas right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Macho Madrigal charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macho Madrigal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when PUNTARENAS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macho Madrigal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macho Madrigal hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Leonel Ortiz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Medina in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by PUNTARENAS F.C's Vinicio Medina. But to his dismay, Vinicio Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. PUNTARENAS F.C made a substitution. Nacho Cordoba replaced Mikael Garcia. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Medina in the 74th minute of play. Virgilio Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute of the match. Vinicio Medina scored 3-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. PUNTARENAS F.C made a substitution. Leopoldo Nuñez replaced Macho Madrigal. In the 88th minute, 邱霆超 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
