Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Koos de Kort got the match started through his kick off. Bertus Waldijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Koos de Kort's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bertus Waldijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bertus Waldijk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bertus Waldijk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrie Höhenstein to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrie Höhenstein charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerrie Höhenstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Gerrie Höhenstein. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bertus Waldijk. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertus Waldijk. FFC Merainies 03's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nigel Willemse hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Bertus Waldijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FFC Merainies 03's Nigel Willemse got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball.

FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bertus Waldijk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FFC Merainies 03 from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertus Waldijk came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Waldijk having to interfere. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bertus Waldijk came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 71st minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-6 via right post in the game's 76th minute. Ecuador's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertus Waldijk having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Bertus Waldijk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Bertus Waldijk came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.
