Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Justo Sagrario made the kick off which started today's match. Nemesio Serafo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Matias Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Águilas Poblanas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Matias Eder, making the score, 1-0. Matias Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matias Eder was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Matias Eder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Eder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Matias Eder made a huge save. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Eder. That made the score 4-0 after 39 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Martin Ubarna got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Gustavo Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Águilas Poblanas's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Eder came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Águilas Poblanas's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Eder came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Eder. 65 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder. Matias Eder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 69th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Matias Eder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Matias Eder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 76th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Matias Eder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Matias Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Eder was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Juan Sebastián Puig scored 10-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Eder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Justo Sagrario sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
