Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Matias Eder came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute Guillermo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Eder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matias Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Eder. Águilas Poblanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 42nd match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Sagrario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Martin Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Águilas Poblanas's protests and gave Martin Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Ubarna kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Eder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Eder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Guillermo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Matias Eder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Eder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Fontirroig went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Eder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matias Eder made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Matias Eder in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Matias Eder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Remir in the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Orlando Casaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Eder. Águilas Poblanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Casaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After having played for 87 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes of play Águilas Poblanas's Martin Ubarna was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With a little luck, Águilas Poblanas's Matias Eder got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
