The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Roldanillo was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Quentin could save by the left post. In the 61st minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Pincha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
