Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin. Carlos Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Chile booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Everardo Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin. Carlos Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramon-Angel Sadurni kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Pincha FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Quentin. The Pincha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Quentin should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Pincha FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the game, Chile got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Carlos Quentin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Quentin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Hondo went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Pincha FC's Brian Nuñez was substituted for Everardo Garaile. Rodrigo Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pincha FC made a substitution. German Merexildo replaced Agustin Silvino. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Carlos Quentin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when German Merexildo came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Quentin was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-5. Sergio Macerio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
