Stamatis Pegiadis, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Stamatis Pegiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro's late challenge caught a FC Germania Danzig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Axel Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stamatis Pegiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Germania Danzig's Roch Bialakowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Cazalla in the 22 minute of the game. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Stamatis Pegiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Germania Danzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamatis Pegiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, FC Germania Danzig's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Birk Bodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Hercule Orain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Germania Danzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After 42 played minutes FC Germania Danzig got a freekick which was hit by Hercule Orain. 47 minutes into the match, FC Germania Danzig's Stamatis Pegiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stamatis Pegiadis. In the 57th match minute, FC Germania Danzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Groppe to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, FC Germania Danzig's Stamatis Pegiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birk Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Germania Danzig's Stamatis Pegiadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Aldo Bauzá in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Secada in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birk Bodin saved FC Germania Danzig from getting behind. The Colombia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Germania Danzig's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Germania Danzig.
