In the 14th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Shelby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jochum Astild kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cabbar Uluant in the 19th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in TaTaNgA54's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Shelby came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Shelby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Shelby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cabbar Uluant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Shelby. That made the score 0-3 after 50 minutes of play. Kubilay Keçeci scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 played minutes Abraham Alguacil scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Tommy Shelby who was too lazy, 1-4. 61 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tommy Shelby having to interfere. In the 66th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Shelby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kubilay Keçeci hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Shelby saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pangeran Wolf in the 73rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Miguel Miralles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TaTaNgA54 the free kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. TaTaNgA54's Pangeran Wolf got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Tommy Shelby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Berganza in the 81st minute. If Matthew Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pangeran Wolf fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TaTaNgA54's protests and gave Pangeran Wolf a yellow card for diving instead. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Tommy Shelby made a huge save. TaTaNgA54's Tommy Shelby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save TaTaNgA54 from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Panama eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
