Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godofredo Guifre kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jacinto Eleazar sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Ermegildo Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 23rd minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Venancio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Oto came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Abraham Alguacil. But to his dismay, Abraham Alguacil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Alguacil in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Oto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Inocencio Frichoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. A hard shot by Edelmiro Veremundo from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Marcos Cotilla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Frichoso in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Frichoso to make the kick off. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Venancio Oto made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Gopov in the 70th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Punta Alvear's Jacinto Eleazar got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Inocencio Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 77th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Venancio Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Jacinto Eleazar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Gizon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 90th minute of play. Punta Alvear were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
