It was a well-played corner which Mao Yan Yong managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Gronow got free with Jax Williamson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 32nd minute of play. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Enzo Cope seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Enzo Cope the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enzo Cope had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 36th match minute, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Cope to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Mccarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jax Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Manuelo in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Canada's Koby Wright in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalie prevented a goal. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rohan Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Williamson having to interfere. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Burton in the 65th minute of play. Ildefonso Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. Abelardo Janpier was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Filip Edwards capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filip Edwards really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Ruben Eate kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Burton in the 82nd minute of play. Gerardo Etxepare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inaki Mirabal who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ziemowit Chowaniec to a score. 1-1 in the 86th minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2.
