The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 10 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamad Salah came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Marco Day managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Blue avalanche's Omurtag Púrvulov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delyan Partinov, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Slavey Dochevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Mohamad Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omurtag Púrvulov got free with Marco Day in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavey Dochevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mohamad Salah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Stanislav Búlgarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue avalanche's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislav Búlgarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 42nd minute of play forced Blue avalanche's goalkeeper Slavey Dochevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavey Dochevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Búlgarov in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislav Búlgarov to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of USA booed when Blue avalanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamad Salah didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Búlgarov in the 57th minute of the match. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omurtag Púrvulov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slavey Dochevski made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Omurtag Púrvulov charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omurtag Púrvulov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Omurtag Púrvulov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
