Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduard Semeghin got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduard Semeghin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Victor Huștiu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 20th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Petru to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Semeghin in the 23rd minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rosendo Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eduard Semeghin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Huștiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Remus Vermeşan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remus Vermeşan scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Remus Vermeşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eduard Semeghin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Vermeşan in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 63rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Rosendo Seguinus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Vărzaru to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Rosendo Seguinus 85 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 91st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Vărzaru in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
