In the 3rd minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cosimo Laudadio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marco Silvestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Cosimo Laudadio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Bevilacqua got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cosimo Laudadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosimo Laudadio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Laudadio got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luca Pellegrini charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Pellegrini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS got a freekick which was hit by Luca Pellegrini. In the 26th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 28th minute of play forced SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Cosimo Laudadio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Cosimo Laudadio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosimo Laudadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Laudadio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Cosimo Laudadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Immobile made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 41 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Silvestri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Izzo to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cosimo Laudadio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of SPALLETTE RETURNS booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Fortunato Santone was substituted for Armando Izzo. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Colombia's attentive Pascual Carballar managed to snatch the ball when Ciro Immobile made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Laudadio in the 66th minute of play. Achille Tullio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Antonio Nero replaced Achille Tullio. SPALLETTE RETURNS's attentive Amedeo Palmieri managed to snatch the ball when Orlando Tafalla made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Bevilacqua in the 78th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Garrido came free, but Marco Silvestri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Cosimo Laudadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Laudadio ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Silvestri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Bevilacqua in the 92nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Secada got a free kick in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SPALLETTE RETURNS.
