Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Ruhsat, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Fort Comme Un Turc defense, Abram Luque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İsmail Hakkı Ökmener. The Fort Comme Un Turc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İsmail Hakkı Ökmener should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsmail Hakkı Ökmener narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Şimşek Ruhsat charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şimşek Ruhsat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Fort Comme Un Turc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şimşek Ruhsat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hektor Dino in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Hektor Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şimşek Ruhsat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Korcan Elçioğlu in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ahmet Korcan Elçioğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 2-1. Şimşek Ruhsat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Şimşek Ruhsat slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 65th minute. After 71 played minutes Fort Comme Un Turc got a freekick which was hit by Çağlar Erzan. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Abram Luque made a precise shot to the right of İsmail Hakkı Ökmener. Fort Comme Un Turc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. A sloppy throw-in by Vural Başaydın in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. Mehmet Efe Duman was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
