The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atak Koral kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cabbar Dinçay hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Axel Montenegro hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The LOI fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when LOI's Sulo Montaña looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Özgür Özbay. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cabbar Dinçay hit a great ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOI's George Buturugã was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute of play. Sulo Montaña took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sulo Montaña in the 30th minute. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 37th minute of the match. George Buturugã was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sulo Montaña got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Sulo Montaña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sulo Montaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joshua Garrido charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Garrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Joshua Garrido hit a great ball. When Sulo Montaña came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the LOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sulo Montaña couldn't finish the play. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Joshua Garrido made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LOI's Atak Koral. George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Pascual Carballar sent off a good shot on target. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LOI made a substitution. Tayyip Taylan replaced Ahmet Hamdi Ortan. Sulo Montaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 80th minute of play. Sulo Montaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Sulo Montaña. But to his dismay, Sulo Montaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. LOI made a substitution. Metin Semi replaced Kaan Öztanır. Sulo Montaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. The throw-in from Luis Cazalla in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LOI's Atak Koral. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerimhan Cevher in the 93rd minute of play. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LOI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
