Jonathan Alphonse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ian Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Gyllne Hammarn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Björkkvist to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Gummeson during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 8 minutes into the game, one of Gyllne Hammarn FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ian Vidman went to the wrong direction when Jonathan Alphonse was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Simon Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Joar Tidéksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gyllne Hammarn FC and the Haiti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haiti's Philippe Ambroise got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Vidman having to interfere. Ingvar Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Ingvar Näver dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Seide, 1-0. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Björling in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gyllne Hammarn FC's Allan Brovall got a free kick in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Claude Ulysse during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Gummeson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. In the 46th minute of the match, Per-Erik Hansson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Noel Seide was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Näver made a kick off. Gösta Björling scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th match minute, Gyllne Hammarn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Brovall to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Haiti's Ian Vidman threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philippe Ambroise, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes into the game, Philippe Ambroise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ian Vidman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gösta Björling took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Jonathan Alphonse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Vidman having to interfere. Gösta Björling charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Björling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gyllne Hammarn FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gösta Björling hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ingvar Näver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Näver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Näver in the 76th minute of play. Allan Brovall made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Per-Erik Hansson. In the 81st minute, Ingvar Näver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Tidéksson in the 83rd minute of play. Simon Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Gyllne Hammarn FC were awarded a corner. Per-Erik Hansson went to the cornerflag to take it. Gyllne Hammarn FC's Per-Erik Hansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Noel Seide in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Hansson in the 96th minute of the match.
