In the 16th minute Mohamad Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislav Búlgarov during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Stanislav Búlgarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Stanislav Búlgarov sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Blue avalanche's Seymour Coffman got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luz Tejedor to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Búlgarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Slavey Dochevski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Peru were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Blue avalanche's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski did a great save. 64 minutes into the match, Stanislav Búlgarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stanislav Búlgarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delyan Partinov in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Blue avalanche's Slavey Dochevski got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamad Salah in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamad Salah came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamad Salah in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Blue avalanche booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Blue avalanche's Mohamad Salah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Blue avalanche were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
