Cecilio Txordon struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 11 Chivos Reales. 4 minutes into the match, 11 Chivos Reales's Viorel Uncuţă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Viorel Uncuţă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Viorel Uncuţă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11 Chivos Reales's Raimundo Raitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Raul Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 11 Chivos Reales the free kick. Raul Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Andres Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the 11 Chivos Reales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Tirso couldn't finish the play. Viorel Uncuţă scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 35th minute of play. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 44th minute of the match. The Paraguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 11 Chivos Reales were winning 0-2.

Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Uncuţă in the 64th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Viorel Uncuţă sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. In the 75th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. When Faustino Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the 11 Chivos Reales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Mambru couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Raitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 84th minute of play. Faustino Mambru succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 88th playminute. In the 92nd minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Furtado hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 11 Chivos Reales's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
