Victor Rutenio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Duszenski in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Dudu Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filip Topolski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Filip Topolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filip Topolski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Ziemowit Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victor Rutenio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LKS Wasik Lidzbark's protests and gave Victor Rutenio a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes LKS Wasik Lidzbark got a freekick which was hit by Victor Rutenio. In the 43rd minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Duszenski in the 47th minute of play. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LKS Wasik Lidzbark were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Duszenski in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Freitas in the 54th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Topolski having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Freitas in the 58th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Marian Duszenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play forced LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Filip Topolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Rouco charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Rouco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot by Pankracy Rasiak from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Dante Lacasa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Filip Topolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Topolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Cadaval went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Dudu Freitas sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Duszenski in the 85th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Rasiak took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Topolski was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Filip Topolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico.
