In the 11th minute of the match PARNASOVFC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nemesio Clemencin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cuauhtémoc Tena heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. David Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Bingen having to make a save. David Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bingen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, PARNASOVFC's Nemesio Clemencin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Errolan in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Clemencin during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes PARNASOVFC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Clemencin. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Bingen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Clemencin in the 83rd minute of play.
