The throw-in from Lucian Geolgău in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Marco Tamayo. 16 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Vlăsiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Tym Tym's Nicodim Bacalbașa got a free kick in the 21st minute. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leonard Vlăsiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Vlăsiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Angelescu in the 38th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Tym Tym booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Tamayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tym Tym getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ioan Lazăr hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Moises Fernandinos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Leonard Vlăsiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Tym Tym getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vintilă Vâlcu hit a great ball. Narcis Domide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Salvador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vintilă Vâlcu was slow to take the kick. During this time Tym Tym's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Tym Tym's George Cârneci getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Nicodim Bacalbașa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Victor Angelescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Vlăsiu. Tym Tym's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Victor Angelescu came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tym Tym fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Angelescu couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Tym Tym got a freekick which was hit by Victor Angelescu. 84 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tym Tym's Leonard Vlăsiu. Leonard Vlăsiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vintilă Vâlcu, made in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd match minute, Tym Tym was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Cârneci to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Vlăsiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes, Joshua Curbelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Tym Tym players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joshua Curbelo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Tym Tym fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Salvador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
