Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Hyvä Suomi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! The USA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were winning 1-2.

He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC to win.
