Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Canu in the 20th minute of play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of the match. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fabien Canu made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 52ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Derviş Okan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Lunar Park from getting a goal against them. When Lorenzo Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lorenzo Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 69th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Canu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Lunar Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Fabien Canu kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
