Milagros Fraga made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julian Murillo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agostinho Moraes got free with Rolando Noboa in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agostinho Moraes. Leonard Olejasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 96th minute. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonard Olejasz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
