Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ola Lagerberg kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 4 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Amaro Casas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Amaro Casas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Triana Rep. Ind.'s Ola Lagerberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Nando Zaplana made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Amaro Casas. 13 minutes into the game, Ola Lagerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Ola Lagerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Bahiano Camarasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adulfo Alcantara in the 32nd minute of play. Ola Lagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 35 minutes into the game, Ola Lagerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Ola Lagerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 41st match minute, Triana Rep. Ind. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Zaplana to maneuver through the defense. Triana Rep. Ind.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ola Lagerberg in the 45th minute. The corner led Triana Rep. Ind.'s Ola Lagerberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play forced Triana Rep. Ind.'s goalkeeper Bahiano Camarasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Adulfo Alcantara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triana Rep. Ind.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adulfo Alcantara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Olmos in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adulfo Alcantara, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 69th match minute, Triana Rep. Ind. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amaro Casas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Amaro Casas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Triana Rep. Ind.'s Amaro Casas made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Nando Zaplana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Triana Rep. Ind. and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Triana Rep. Ind. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Nando Zaplana hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Ola Lagerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Bahiano Camarasa managed to make a qualified save. Triana Rep. Ind.'s players were relieved. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Elvio Olmos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Triana Rep. Ind.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
