Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Naohiro Takahara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Celso Betadur got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustín Rossi skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustín Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Naohiro Takahara sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Frontera AFC were awarded a corner. Silvestre Cisco went to the cornerflag to take it. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Frontera AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Changeez Zeballos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Changeez Zeballos during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Changeez Zeballos to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Cisco was the one to do the kick off. Naohiro Takahara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 53rd minute Naohiro Takahara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Rossi made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Frontera AFC from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frontera AFC's Gonzalo Pacifico was substituted for Celso Betadur. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frontera AFC's Fabian Jaroszewicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 65 minute of the game. But to his dismay, Naohiro Takahara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Naohiro Takahara came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Jaroszewicz hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's Naohiro Takahara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Alan Varela got a free kick in the 91st minute. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
