When Oğuzer Hakim fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YeniMalatyaSpor's protests and gave Oğuzer Hakim a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birsel Tanyıldız was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 63rd minute of the match Oğuzer Hakim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Oğuzer Hakim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, YeniMalatyaSpor's Oğuzer Hakim got a free kick in the 64th minute. Birsel Tanyıldız made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 65th minute of play. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birsel Tanyıldız came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Espiga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 78th minute. Ruhi Başdemir hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birsel Tanyıldız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Birsel Tanyıldız made a huge save. YeniMalatyaSpor's Birsel Tanyıldız played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 92nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Birsel Tanyıldız could save by the left post. Edmundo Espiga didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 96th minute. Honduras's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement!
